Day 31 Central Australia. Crawled out of the dusty desert running on petrol fumes. Stopped at Hermannsburg an Aboriginal Community to refuel and purchase basic supplies to set up camp at Finke Gorge National Park, 4 Wheel Drive Territory. A visit to the historic Hermannsburg missionary to ponder the cultural melting pot that never melted. Then another spectacular 4WD drive track along the world’s most ancient river beds estimated to be over 100 million years old.
